Coastguards in the west of the Island were called out to their second oil spill in under a week last night.
Peel's volunteers were alerted shortly before 8.30pm when members of the public reported seeing oil in the town's harbour.
Two search teams found a moored vessel they suspected had been leaking oil and placed absorbent booms around the boat and at the mouth of the harbour.
The incident took just under three hours to deal with.
