The Island's lifeboat supporters will gather this weekend to honour the man who founded the RNLI.
The annual commemorative service to remember Sir William Hillary will be held this Sunday, January 8, at St George's Church in Douglas starting at 3pm.
The service will be conducted by Archdeacon of Man, the Venerable Andrew Brown, and will be attended by Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney.
He'll lay a wreath on the tomb of Sir William & Lady Hillary in St George's Churchyard after the service.
