A public meeting has been called to address the ongoing works to remove contaminated silt from the Peel marina.
German Parish Commissioners will host the meeting on Thursday after stating their disappointment to the way work has started before any meaningful public consultation has taken place.
They say their annoyance was compounded by the spillage of contaminated waste over the streets and pavements of Peel during the transportation of the silt to the site on Poortown road.
