    Commissioners cut in south?

Four commissioners in the south of the Island look set to lose their jobs when Tynwald sits next week.

Two items on the court's agenda will see board numbers cut after Port Erin and Port St Mary said they had too many elected members.

Both local authorities would lose two members each as they shrink from nine per board to just seven.

Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer will ask Tynwald to back the changes when it sits on Tuesday.
