Castletown Commissioners is planning to repaint the town hall in a ‘muted’ colour for the autumn season.
The local authority says the pink paint, which was to support a charity, and rainbow stripes have been more durable than anticipated.
The building has sparked ‘heated discussions’ since being painted but the commissioners say despite their ‘willingness’ to try something new they remain ‘steadfast’ in wanting to preserve the historic nature of the town.
The commissioners say they are open to suggestions and want to hear from anyone who would like a mural painted on their wall.
