After its successful launch in Douglas, Port Erin Commissioners is hoping to bring a ‘foodies’ market to the south of the Island.
The local authority is inviting businesses to a meeting tonight at St Catherine’s Church Hall to discuss the plan ahead of a potential Spring opening.
It was started to support ‘grass roots’ and ‘small scale’ producers across the Island with a place for them to sell and grow their businesses.
Chair Godfrey Egee says he hopes the market will support the board’s plan for a public square:
