Consultation proposing to cut red tape for homeowners

A consultation on proposals that will see red tape cut to allow more small-scale developments to take place is nearing its closing date.

If given the go ahead it will mean aesthetic improvements to homes and also by the Government on certain sites within its ownership can be carried out without having to first seek planning permission.

It’s geared toward making life easier for householders and also a welcome boost for the local construction industry.
