The police don't have any microchip readers to help identify dogs and their owners.
So says Justice and Home Affairs Minister Jayne Poole-Wilson after a question for written reply.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford wanted to know how many readers officers had, and how often they're used.
In response, Mrs Poole-Wilson said the Constabulary doesn't have any.
