A senior nurse at Abbotswood Nursing Home has been made subject to stringent conditions by the profession's governing body while it investigates allegations against her.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council's investigating committee held a virtual hearing for Zandra Joanne Lewis, who was the home's director and chief nurse, on July 3.
It's now imposed an 18-month conditions of practice order which means she can no longer be in sole charge of a shift, or have a role in recruiting nurses.
NMC Case Examiners are still deciding whether the allegations made against Miss Lewis will need a fitness to practice hearing.
