Councillor Christian Justifies Costly Shaws Brow Car Park Referbishment
Councillor David Christian has been speaking to 3FM about the recent budget announcement.
He said due to the fact the budget announced a freezing of the rates the feedback from the public has been largely positive.
The budget laid out plans for a Douglas Town Centre regeneration that it’s hoped will be started this year.
One of the issues that raised a few questions was the refurbishment work on the relatively new Shaws Brow Car Park.
According to the Councillor the Car Park facility, which is only 6 years old, had some significant defects that needed working on to ensure its future.
