A woman from the Phillipines has been told she can't come to the Isle of Man, despite an appeal.
Charlotte Almerol asked Deputy high Bailiff Christopher Arrowsmith to overturn a decision by immigration authorities to refuse her permission to join her Manx husband.
She's been told she couldn't come to the Island because she hadn't passed an English test - which she thought she had to sit once she arrived here.
Mr Arrowsmith said the decision had been lawful, and refused the appeal.
