The man accused of murdering a policewoman from Port St Mary and her colleague while on duty in Greater Manchester has pleaded guilty.
Twenty-nine-year-old Dale Cregan had previously denied killing former Castle Rushen High School student Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes.
Cregan attacked thirty-two-year-old Miss Bone after she attended a routine call on September 18.
Earlier in the trial the jury heard that Cregan lured PCs Bone and Hughes to a house before shooting them repeatedly and then throwing a grenade at his victims.
The court was told Cregan had evaded a nationwide manhunt when he set the trap.
However, Cregan denies the murder of 46-year-old David Short and his 23-year-old son Mark who were found dead earlier last year.
