The recently appointed Community, Culture and Leisure Minister has revealed his delegation of departmental duties.
Tim Crookall has confirmed Laurence Skelly will take on responsibility for community, culture and arts, Juan Turner for sport, the Wildlife Park and Manx National Heritage while Mr Crookall himself retains responsibility for public transport, the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre.
The Minister said: "I am delighted to welcome Mr Skelly and Mr Turner to the DCCL and I’m greatly looking forward to working with them to deliver excellent services to the people of the Isle of Man.
"Services provided by my department make a significant contribution to the quality of life we all enjoy.’
The department promotes and facilitates leisure, arts, recreation and sporting activity around the Island with specific responsibility for the Villa Marina and Gaiety Theatre, Wildlife Park and NSC.
In addition to managing the Island’s major entertainment facilities, it’s also responsible for the provision of bus and heritage railway services
