Crosby's newest housing estate could be expanded, if planners approve newly-submitted proposals.
A Marown-based company has applied for permission to build 18 new houses on fields on Main Road.
If they're given the go-ahead, the homes would be built behind the existing Crosby Meadows housing estate and shop in the village.
Marown commissioners have opposed the plan on behalf of the estate's current residents, who they claim are prevented from commenting on the application under their house purchase contracts.
