The new customs arrangement secured for the Island is a big step in preventing disruption for residents and businesses.
That's according to Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan, who signed the agreement with the UK government in London on Monday.
Mr Cannan added it also protects the 'vital' trading relationship with the UK.
It comes as part of the Isle of Man's preparations for Britain exiting the EU in March next year.
