An 18-year-old man from Peel who's been charged with causing death by dangerous driving has had his case adjourned for eight weeks.
Craig Bridgewater appeared before the Magistrates' Court this morning on three charges including having no insurance and only being a provisional licence holder.
All of the offences relate to a fatal car crash on the Switchback Road on March 8th this year in which a 14-year-old girl died.
His case has been adjourned for committal proceedings until July 31st. Bail was granted.
A second man Andrew Reeday - who is 19 and from Colby - also appeared in court charged with three offences.
The first two - permitting Bridgewater to drive his vehicle with no insurance and no driving licence - were also alleged to have taken place on March 8th.
A further charge of wasting police time was said to have taken place between March 7th and March 10th.
His case was adjourned for two weeks until June 19th. Bail was also granted.
