The number of data breaches recorded by Manx Care rose by 17 per cent last year, according to its annual report.
The document is due to be laid before Tynwald during its November sitting, and shows how many subject data, medical record and freedom of information requests were too slow.
The report shows 165 data breaches were recorded last year, compared to 140 the year before.
But in the report, Manx Care says its staff are encouraged to report breaches and so the rise is a sign of a 'positive reporting culture'.
