David and Alf Cannan to give evidence at land swap hearing

It was determined in February’s Tynwald that a Committee of three members would investigate the Kirk Michael School land exchange agreement between Heritage Homes, Prinecrest Investments and the Department of Education and Children.

The hearing will be looking to find out if access to the land had been secured by January 2011 as was stated at the time by Ayre MHK, Eddie Teare.

They will also be looking into how the negotiations were conducted, and if value for money was achieved.
