Fishermen who break the law whilst fishing in Manx waters will be brought before the courts.
That's the message from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture who say the latest prosecutions of two vessel kingfishers sends out a clear message to others.
At Douglas Courthouse last week Anthony John True - master of the fishing vessel Kingfisher BA810 and John Wilson King were fined £12,000 and £5,000 after fishing with no permit.
True was found to be fishing for king scallops within three miles of the Isle of Man, with no permit to do so.
