THE Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has today announced the appointment of Richard Lole as its next Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Lole comes from a strong farming background with a wealth of experience having already served a variety of senior government roles.
He will take up the DEFA post in March, succeeding Ken Kinrade who is retiring after a distinguished 40-year career in the Isle of Man Civil Service.
His duties will encompasses a number of core activities including food and farming, fisheries, the environment, wildlife, and countryside care.
