Details are starting to come through regarding the
passengers onboard the Manx2.com plane which crashed in Cork this morning.
Six people have been confirmed dead, 6 have been receiving
treatment in Cork’s University Hospital and 2 miraculously walked unscathed
from the wreckage.
Three British citizens, two Irish people and a Spaniard were killed in the crash
Among the survivors are two British citizens, two from
Northern Ireland and the others are from Waterford and Cork in the Irish
Republic. .
Some of the dead are understood to be the crew and employees
of the KPMG accountancy firm based in Belfast.
The Manx2.com plane was en route from Belfast and crashed
during it’s third attempt to land in severe fog ending up on its roof.
Manx2.Com has its head offices on the Island; they’ve been
operating since 2006 and had taken over that specific route last August.
