Dog owner ordered to keep pet under control following bite incident

A dog owner has been ordered to keep control of his pet after it bit a woman in the street.

Lukas Stott of Arbory Street in Castletown appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.

The 26-year-old admitted keeping a dog which caused injury after a fellow dog owner suffered a bite to her hip in Paradise Lane in Castletown on February 6.

Stott was walking his great Dane cross, Finlo, when it bit a woman walking her Jack Russell.

The Deputy High Bailiff ordered Stott to keep his dog under control and pay £50 costs.
