Restrictions on dog walking in one of the Island's nature reserves have come into force.
The Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture says pooches must now remain on a lead at all times at the Ayres National Nature Reserve, up until July 31.
Officials say it's to protect the high amount of ground nesting birds in the area.
Breaking the bye-laws could result in a hefty fine of up to £2,500.
