    Dogs who worry livestock could be shot says vet

    A Colby farmer has suffered distress and significant financial loss after a dog mauled a sheep in his field.

    It's sparked a warning from the Island's chief veterinary officer to dog owners. 
     
    Police are currently investigating the incident which happened on Thursday - the ram had to be put to sleep by a vet.
