DOI apologises for disturbance as Pulrose bridge work continues

The Department of Infrastructure has apologised for any disturbance as it builds a new bridge in Douglas.

The new river bridge at Pulrose needs foundations driven into the river bed, and work started yesterday.

The department says pile-driving can be extremely noisy, and the job is expected to take a week to complete.

It says it's sorry for any disturbance caused to nearby residents and businesses.
