    DOI clarifies Richmond Hill works

Work on Richmond Hill could be completed by the end of May, with intentions to bring back the 50mph speed limit once work is complete.

The Department of Infrastructure has issued a statement on the status of the work, saying with chippings still shedding the temporary 30mph restriction will remain in place for now.

Officials added the department has engaged in a specialist to produce an assessment of the contractors work and is awaiting the results of that report.

The DOI added any road treatment is weather dependent, and as a result the earliest repairs can be undertaken will be in April.
