    DOI hasn't bought petrol vehicles for two years

    The Department of Infrastructure says it's bought 186 diesel vehicles since the government declared a climate emergency two years ago.

    The figures were released in a response to a Freedom of Information request.

    In its response, the DOI says it hasn't bought any petrol vehicles since 2019.

    The government declared a climate emergency that May, with a pledge to ban fossil-fuelled vehicles being sold on the Island by 2040.
