The Department of Infrastructure is looking for interest from 'suitably capable and experienced' airlines who can operate a regular service for the Island.
Government has issued a Prior Information Notice to see if any airlines would be interested in scheduling services between the Isle of Man and London, and Northwest UK airports.
Interested parties can submit a summary of their experience, capability and proposed solution, including details of proposed flight times and routes.
At this stage the department says it's only 'exploring options' and 'no commitment is intended or implied.'
