DOI to spend £80 million on Island's harbours

The Department of Infrastructure will spend more than £80 million improving the Islands harbours.

The department says it's seeking approval from Tynwald to start work over the next three years on the Island's harbours - including Douglas, Ramsey, Peel, Port St Mary and Port Erin.

The proposed plans include a 24-hour Marina in Port St Mary, and a £11 million deep water berth in Douglas.

Infrastructure Minister say the work is estimated to cost £80.37 million in total.
