    DOI will not rely on charge increases to make up budget cuts

    The Department of Infrastructure is faced with having to make nearly £4 million worth of budget cut backs over the next year.

    It's going to result in further staff cutbacks, changes to service delivery and an increased use of technology, says Minister Phil Gawne.
     
    Since 2010 the Department has reduced its staffing levels by 168 people, bringing in savings of £4 million.
     
    Minister Gawne says its going to be a tough year, but has this reassurance for the public:
