Harbour staff won't police Island ports

That's according to the Department of Infrastructure which says it has no plans to extend their remit: 

 

 

That's Minister Phil Gawne - the attendants look after marine security keeping the port safe and oversee commercial ferry operations. 

 

However Onchan MHK Peter Karran believes they could be doing more at a time when government budgets are stretched:
