Domestic incident not linked to burglaries say police

Head Road in Douglas was closed to the public at around 7pm due to a domestic incident within a property on Taubman Terrace. 

 

Police in riot gear were seen surrounding the property - civil defence and paramedics were also on scene for hours. 

 

It's believed a negotiator was sent in to try and resolve the issue which came to a conclusion just after 11pm - nobody was injured.  

 

Police have also confirmed last night's incident was not related to the on-going burglary investigation.
