Man Gets 10 Months Jail for Indecent Images
A Douglas man was jailed for 10 months yesterday for possessing indecent images of children on his mobile phone.
Steven Brian Hills of Mona Terrace was arrested last November, he was charged after admitting four counts of possessing and distributing indecent images of children, some of them being in the most serious category.The pictures were discovered after the police examined his phone subsequent to his arrest.
Hill’s advocate told the court he had been offered the images, although he'd had an interest in children for about a year.
On
top of his 10 month jail term he will also be on the Sex offenders register for
five years.
