A Manx Bollywood star will be getting superpowers next month - when she takes on the role of Supergirl's friend.
25 year old Amy Jackson, who was born in Douglas, has been cast as Saturn Girl in upcoming episodes of the hit US superhero series.
Amy's starred in a dozen Indian movies since 2010.
The third season of Supergirl, featuring Amy's character, will premiere on Monday, October 9.
