A Highways Maintenance Charter has been published to support the government's Island Plan.
The document gives an overview of the Department of Infrastructure's current maintenance regime, and covers the role played by Local Authorities in terms of undertaking tasks such as street cleaning, weeding, and hedge-cutting.
It's the first of its kind to be published and will be discussed with Local Authorities before it's finalised later this year.
The draft Highway Maintenance Charter can be viewed on the government website.
