The Office of Fair Trading is asking for public views on smaller drink measures being sold in pubs.
At present the Island serves spirits in 1/5 gill measures - larger than those served in England and Wales but slightly smaller than in Scotland.
The OFT's now launched a consultation about whether the measures should be changed.
Chief inspector of Trading Standards John Peet says it would also help the industry, which has to buy outsized optics and stamped glasses:
Lavender business hosting charity weeding day
No discussions about creating separate Island immigration route
Roads starting to open
Yacht in distress rescued by lifeboat
Four sailings rescheduled for TT race week
Memorial service tonight for ferry lost in WW2
Biker stopped doing 70 in 50 zone - with pillion
Doug Barrowman company dissolved
