A 51-year-old Douglas man has appeared in court accused of driving against the one way system on the Mountain Road.
Stephen Frank Williams, of Derby Road, hasn't yet entered pleas to dangerous driving and failing to conform to a traffic direction on May 26 at Creg Ny Baa.
Mr Williams claimed a barrier lifted as he approached, and he hadn't known the road was one way - and hadn't seen signs because of fog.
He was bailed to appear again on July 9.
