Two men have been committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery facing drugs and money-laundering charges.
53 year old Keith Andre Anthony Bernard of Albany Road in Douglas and 52 year old David John Alsop of Ballacottier Meadow appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes this week.
Mr Alsop is accused of four counts of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property and possessing cannabis.
Mr Bernard faces one charge of possessing criminal property, one of transferring criminal property and one of possessing diazepam.
All offences are said to have been committed on May 18 last year.
Both were bailed and will appear in the higher court on a date to be fixed.
A third man charged in the case, 21 year old Jamie Mark Smith of Queens Promenade in Douglas, was bailed to appear again for committal proceedings on February 19.
He’s accused of possessing criminal property and transferring criminal property.
