The Douglas RNLI lifeboat was launched in the early hours of this morning to help a broken down yacht.
The volunteer crew was paged at 1.30am to rescue a three people who's boat engine had over-heated while on its way to the Island.
The lifeboat found the yacht off Santon Head using their VHF radio direction finding equipment to locate them safely in the dark.
They broken down boat was towed back to Douglas - with its crew 'tired but none the worse for their ordeal'.
