Laws protecting Island people from discrimination, victimisation and harassment are being strengthened from tomorrow.
The government says the final provisions of the Equality Act 2017 will take full effect from January 1, 2020.
Most of the Act has been in force for nearly 12 months - the legislation makes it unlawful to discriminate, victimise or harass someone based on the likes of their age, gender identity, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.
