Ex-Douglas South MHK looks to fill vacant seat

A hopeful for the vacant South Douglas House of Keys seat has been outlining his intentions.

Bill Malarkey has previously served as MHK for Douglas South from 2006-2011.

During his initial tenure he was heavily involved in Social Services, the drug and alcohol strategy and the prison and probation services.

He tells us he still has a lot more to offer in the role, and says although he understands the challenges faced by government it's time the public stopped being hit directly:
