Relatives of residents at a care home are being urged to keep in contact digitally until it is safe to resume visiting hours.
It comes after Manx care announced an extension to a temporary closure at Reayrt-ny-Baie in Douglas.
The decision to close until August 27 was made following a recent COVID-19 review.
During this time the home will to be closed to visitors and new admissions although visits may be allowed on compassionate grounds.
A spokesman said this will be managed by staff "on a case-by-case basis".
It comes following Manx Care beginning a phased re-opening of care homes across the Island earlier this week, with some restrictions in place including mask wearing, social distancing and pre-booking appointments.
