Bereaved family raise over £2,000 for air ambulance

The family of a man killed by a dangerous driver are raising money for the Great North Air Ambulance which airlifted him to the UK for critical care.

Jordan Thomas was killed by Jackson Paul - who recently had his prison sentence cut from six years to four - on Harbour Road in Onchan in 2024.

Savina Thomas said that Jordan’s injuries were catastrophic, but thanked the air ambulance and Noble's Hospital for giving them some hope for a chance of his survival.

The JustGiving page she set up in his memory has so far raised over £2,000 out of its £3,000 target.
