Fire crews responded to a carbon monoxide detector at a house in Douglas over the weekend.
Green Watch carried out gas detection, isolated the source and vented the property.
The occupants received first aid before the Ambulance Service arrived.
The Fire and Rescue Service says carbon monoxide is dangerous and can form from any fuel-burning appliance.
Exposure to the gas can lead to weakness, headaches, nausea, dizziness and fatigue.
