Fire crews were called out to a house in Port St Mary yesterday, after a blaze broke out.

The incident happened shortly before 2pm in Gansey, and the Isle of Man Fire Service says crews from Port Erin, Castletown and Douglas attended.

All occupants had evacuated safely, and 20 firefighters took five hours to bring the flames under control.

The building suffered damage to all its four floors.
