Ray Harmer is the first candidate to run for Glenfaba and Peel in September's election.
Mr Harmer was elected as MHK for the constituency nine months ago and hopes to continue on for the next five years.
He says he's seen a number of important projects get started and would like to see them 'come to fruition' - like the completion of the sewerage treatment plant and the on-going regeneration of Peel.
He says he believes 'innovation and vision' are needed to meet future challenges the Isle of Man might face.
