Police say the first person caught after they launched an annual Christmas drink-drive campaign has been banned from the roads for three years.
Officers say the motorist was caught less than 24 hours after they began Operation Ripple Effect last Friday.
They say last night they arrested another driver who failed a roadside drug wipe.
On Facebook, the Roads Policing Unit is urging people to make the right decision by not taking drugs or drinking and driving.
