Flybe is ending its Island service to Heathrow and, under new plans, is scrapping its Island base.
In an announcement from the airline today, it says the final service to London Heathrow will take place on Saturday, October 26 and its Manx base is to close under a phased programme.
Meanwhile two new aircrafts will be brought in to carry out services between the Isle of Man and Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham which will continue as normal - the first of which coming in on January 5, 2020, and the second on March 29, 2020.
It's part of a new commercial arrangement with Stobart Air which will take over Flybe's Island flight operations.
The Heathrow service had been introduced only as part of the summer schedule for this year.
