A former French government minister who dodged tax by hiding millions of euros on the Isle of Man has had his conviction upheld.
Former budget minister Jerome Cahuzac was found guilty of tax fraud and money laundering last year.
The 65 year old former plastic surgeon led a crusade against tax evasion in France while hiding his money from authorities.
At appeal this week, he was sentenced to four years in prison with two years suspended, fined more than a quarter of a million pounds and banned from public office for five years.
