Further Coronavirus case confirmed

A further case of Covid-19 has been confirmed on Island this evening.

Government says the individual, who recently travelled to the Isle of Man, is in self-isolation which will now last for a further two weeks.

Officials add the contact tracing team is now working to identify and speak to anyone who may have come into close contact with the individual.

Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, says: "We have seen a small number of cases of COVID-19 detected in recent weeks.

" We cannot afford to become complacent and we must all remain vigilant if we are to succeed in keeping the virus from once again spreading in our community".
